Meat Processing – Integrated Automation

As one of Europe’s leading food processors, ABP Food Group provides quality beef to thousands of customers across the world. In order to meet the demand for high volume of quality product, ABP Foods upgraded the company’s current food processing facilities at its Cahir manufacturing facility, Ireland and extended production capacity with the introduction of a new state-of-the-art gel bone production plant.

CG controls were hired to provide a complete process control solution that would ensure fat, bone and protein factions are rapidly heated within the production process and that the bone and protein fractions are further separated from the fat by an automated decanter centrifuging.

CG Controls proposed a totally-integrated automated solution which would deliver a low cost of ownership using technology suppliers with a track record of long-term support.
